(Bhopal/Harda )  Ultimately the Madhya Pradesh government had to change its decision regarding Moong Procurement Policy 2024 in Madhya Pradesh. The government had to bow down to the demands and protest of the farmers. Farmers across the state were angry with the decision to limit the purchase of moong to 8 quintals per hectare and 25 quintals per day in the procurement policy. Farmer organizations in every district were making demands through memorandum and demonstrations. Transport and School Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that while fulfilling the demands, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav assured to buy 12 quintals of moong per hectare, sell 40 quintals of moong on one account in a day and weigh the moong with a big plate and fork.

Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Uday Pratap Singh reached the protest site organized in Harda and gave assurance to the farmers. After which the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh ended the strike.
